About
I am currently a graduate assistant on the Thesis, Dissertation, and Publication team in the University of Florida’s Graduate School. Canadian born and raised, I moved to Gainesville in August 2021 to begin studying and working abroad at the University of Florida.
Prior to my time in Gainesville, I earned my Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph in animal biology. Recently, I earned my Master of Science degree in agricultural education and communication specializing in leadership development in May 2023. Currently, I am working on completing my Doctor of Philosophy degree in the same major and specialization.

Personally, I believe there is an opportunity to create a positive impact on youth development through interactions with horses. I have grown my career in the horse industry and tourism by working a carriage driver and horseback trail guide. I have also gained leadership experience by working in a leadership role with The Walt Disney Company. With my combined experiences, I am exceptionally passionate about creating opportunities for children to have access to horses and animals and the benefits they provide!
